Center for Applied Rural
Innovation (CARI) -- University of

addressed with Farm*A*Syst include: quality of well water,

Green Power Partnership --
Voluntary government-industry program supported by U.S. EPA. Partners in
the program pledge to switch to green power for a portion of their electricity
needs within one year. In return, EPA provides technical assistance and
public recognition. Green power is electricity generated by renewable
energy sources including solar, wind, water (hydro), geothermal, biomass
(combustion of organic materials), and biogas (combustion of naturally-produced
methane). The web site includes information about what green power is, the
green power market, joining the partnership, green power resources, green power
locator, a list of partners, and green power leadership awards.
Green Star -- Nonprofit
organization that encourages businesses, schools, and government
agencies to incorporate techniques of waste reduction, energy
conservation, and pollution prevention in their places of
business. Businesses that enroll in the program must complete 12
of 18 standards.

Minimization -- The Waste Minimization National Plan

Northwest Pollution Prevention Resource Center -- Nonprofit
