• The search form has 4 input fields for: environmental law (e.g., CAA, RCRA), keywords, and month and year added/updated.  You can search on no fields, all fields, or a combination.  (Just clicking "Submit" on a blank form will return all records).
• The list returned will be sorted by Environmental Law, then by the Date Added/ Updated (from newest to oldest), then by the record's Title.
• Keyword searches must contain at least 4 characters.  Keyword searches should be limited to one to three terms for better results.  Keyword searches default to "and," i.e., it will search records for all keywords.
• The month and year functions search the database for the date that the Regulatory Updates were added or updated.
• Examples:  To get the all of the Clean Air Act updates in 2000, select Clean Air Act and 2000.  If you only want to search on environmental law topic, then don't enter keywords, and leave the month as "All Months" and the year as "All Years."
• The Regulatory Updates that are typically more than one year old are not reviewed and updated, but can still be accessed for informational purposes.  We cannot guarantee that the links to external sites will be accurate on older records.
