Results from 2004 Home Page Customer Satisfaction Survey

An online user survey was conducted for the Small Business Environmental Home Page between January and March 2004.  The U.S. EPA Small Business Division / Small Business Ombudsman, Karen Brown, conducted this survey to follow up on the 2001 survey to determine the effectiveness of the Home Page and ways to improve it and make it easier to use. The brief survey included a handful of questions about why users visit the Home Page, what would improve it, how users learned about it, and any problems encountered. Our intent was to learn what parts of the Home Page are and are not important, where to spend resources as we continue to develop the web site, and what direction we should take in the future.

The survey has been completed, and results compiled and evaluated.  You may link to the resources below for a copy of the survey form, a summary of the results of the survey by question (table form), table of user comments responding to two questions on the survey (#8 What would make this web site more satisfactory and/or useful to you?, #7 Please note if you had any of the following problems related to the web site.--text box for Another problem) and resulting actions, table of user comments from Question 1 (Which best describes why you most often visit this web site, other reasons), and a flyer of the results.
