Results from 2000 Home Page Customer Satisfaction Survey
In the fall of 2000, the U.S. EPA Small Business Ombudsman, Karen
Brown, and the Small Business Environmental Home Page conducted a survey
of Home Page users. This was done in order to determine the
effectiveness of the Home Page and ways to improve it and make it easier
to use. The brief survey included a handful of questions about why users
visit the Home Page, what would improve it, how users learned about it,
and any problems encountered. Our intent was to learn what parts of the
Home Page are and are not important, where to spend resources as we
continue to develop the web site, and what direction we should take in
the future. Users filled out the form on line and were instructed to
contact Eileen McGovern at EPA with questions about the survey, or
Audrey Zelanko with any technical questions about the form.
The survey has been completed, and results compiled and evaluated.
You may link to the resources below for a copy of the survey form, a
summary of the results of the survey by question, and a table of user
comments responding to two questions on the survey (What would make
this web site more satisfactory and/or useful to you? and Specify
other web problems) and resulting actions (no action, actions taken,
actions to be considered).
