PLEASE NOTE:
This database is populated by responses from an online survey conducted in February/March 2003 to gather financial assistance program information from the 507 and related programs (small business assistance programs or SBAPs).  The survey was conducted to facilitate information sharing between SBAP and Small Business Ombudsman (SBO) programs nationwide.  This database has been developed from the survey responses to enable searching by program, survey question, and keyword.  Contact information is included to encourage program interaction.  The survey was developed in cooperation with the National Small Business Financial Assistance Work Group (NSBFAWG) to assist in the group's goals to disseminate information in order to help improve existing programs and start new programs successfully.  Overall statistics are provided for applicable questions posed on the survey.  These statistics are provided based on the surveys returned, and are not reflective of all the programs.  Some programs did not respond and some county/local programs responded.  Finally, financial assistance is often offered through a variety of different programs or not at all for small business environmental issues.  Thank you to all the programs that participated in this effort.  Please send any questions or comments on this survey/database to Audrey G. Zelanko at:  zelanko@smallbiz-enviroweb.org.
