Environmental stewardship is one of Region 6's
core values. The region is committed to
reducing environmental impacts and the
consumption of natural resources at its
facilities and in daily operations. Region
6 has implemented its own Environmental
Management System (EMS) to help minimize their
internal eco-footprint. The EMS includes
finding ways to reduce energy consumption and
promoting daily actions that everyone in the
organization can take to be green.

Systems -- Region 3 has made all of its EMS
information available for use by EPA staff as
well as external stakeholders. The region
hopes to be an example for, and to assist
