NSBFAWG Mission

The National Small Business Financial Assistance Work Group (NSBFAWG) has accepted as its mission to be a clearinghouse of information for local, state, and federal employees who manage environmental financial assistance programs that serve small businesses, and who have an interest in sharing information about their programs.

The purpose of the NSBFAWG is to promote the development of a "Cafeteria Plan" of information that catalogues the
how-tos, dos and don’ts, pros and cons, and contact information about different types of existing environmental financial assistance programs. The idea is to provide the end-user with a resource that can be utilized in selecting, developing and implementing a program tailored to the specific goals of their organization, and/or the needs of their small business community.
